Who Am I? Simply put I am a photographer, engineer, runner, hiker, skier, and frequent traveler.
Welcome to the Michele Schanker Photography Blog! I am a
photographer currently located in the Antelope Valley of California,
but I also serve the Denver, CO area!. Yup, two completly different loactions spread about 1000 miles apart.
We focus on Photojournalistic Lifestyle Photography. What does that
mean? It means that I like your photos to look natural. I photograph
kids and babies at home or in a comfortable setting. I do not do any
studio photography. Eveything is done on location at a place that most
suits you and/or your family.
I love capturing special moments, emotion, and the interactions of
people. I photograph couples, children, babies, maternity, and weddings. This blog serves as my online photojournal that
consists of my photoshoots and also a few of my traveling adventures
too.

Meet Tamilyn and Jeremy… currently a long distance relationship, and I can actually relate (since I currently live 1000 miles from my husband right now). She lives in Cali, he lives in Alabama!

We had an amazing sunset photo session in the hills of Santa Clarita this past Friday. I had such a hard time choosing which ones to blog, but here they are.

Ughhh…I got sick this week for the third time in four months. I attribute it to all my airplane travel. Essentially when I don’t have weddings or photoshoots booked I travel to Denver to visit my husband. So during the winter months, I guess that means lots of sickness. What fun! As I’m suffering through my latest bout of illness I looked through some photos I took in downtown Denver two weeks ago. Here are some of the ones I picked out to share with everyone.
I am very much looking forward to the day where I travel to Denver for good. Colorado is a dream location for me.
