Preakness 2009!

It has become almost an annual tradition now that my husband and I go back to Maryland for a weekend in May to attend the Preakness at Pimlico. This year it happened to fall right on Dave’s birthday! So we just had to go again. We had tons of fun yelling for the horses to win, watching all the people in their colorful hats, and just hanging out with family and friends. This year we had excellent seats..we were able to walk right up to the railing which meant some really decent photos.

Totally Amazing Bridal Shoot!

I have lots of things I need to get done today since I was gone all day yesterday. But I quickly wanted to share a few photos from yesterday. I participated in a GREAT Bridal Shoot in Topanga Hills yesterday. The location was great! We shot at The Mountain Mermaid. I’ll share more about it later, but for now here are a couple that I shot yesterday.

Before and After

Thought I’d share a before and after of a photo I took last summer. I wanted to try something new . This photo was processed using the Lights Out which is part of the Totally Rad Actions.

This is the original photo:

I used the lights out action then masked the subject back. I think I may have added a little bit of O snap as well. This is the end result!

Here’s another sample with the light out action, get faded autumn, and also a slight texture.
