I’ve been on a second shooting kick lately! I do love second shooting, I guess cause I love candid photography.

Wow its taken me a while to get back to part 2 of this wedding!

Here’s a little bit of the reception from the June Lake Wedding that I was a second shooter for earlier this month.

Let’s start with the details…

These girls really seemed to enjoy dancing.

Check out this litle boy…he liked the dance floor too.

The bride also did a hula dance for the groom! Talk about unique.

THe smores were enjoyed by all

I loved how everyone joined hands in a circle for the blessing before dinner

Then there was the sharing of some scotch!

A couple of weekends ago I was in Mammoth Lakes, CA with my husband enjoying the mountain views. I remember saying on the way home…wouldn’t it be awesome to shoot a wedding up here. Little did I know that the following weekend I would be! Later that week I stumbled upon a photographer looking for a second shooter for a wedding taking place in June Lake! I was available and all over it. Who could pass up a chance to shoot a wedding in the sierras!

Robbie and Natalie were married on August 8th 2009 at The Double Eagle Resort in June Lake. Their wedding went perfect and the details were amazing. I shot this along side of fellow San Diego photographer Emily James.

I loved the lighting when the bridal party was standing around waiting to go into the reception.
