Today my husband and I tagged along with some friends to take their kids to the pumpkin patch. We really did have a  lot of fun, and I figured it would make for some great photos. I even figured I could practice my shooting techniques in the bright afternoon california sun. It really was tricky to get good photos of kids running around in that kind of lighting, but I managed to nail down some techniques that worked pretty well. Here is the end result.

Sorry, I’m a bit late on posting my latest engagement session. I like to try and get photos posted as soon as possible, but just haven’t had a lot of free time this week.

Sarah and Josh are getting married next spring in North Carolina. However they live in Lancaster while they are going to school and they were in need of some engagement photos. So we decided to do the shoot at the Getty Center in Los Angeles. Seriously…an awesome place for photos. Lots to work with. In fact I had planned to do some more shots, but we ran out of time. I was totally thrilled to be doing photos at the Getty. Anyway I plan to post more, but here is one for now.

This is my new toy!

And so far I’m loving it…even though it’s a new adjustment.

Now I’m a Mac.
