Bangkok Thailand

Thought I’d quickly update my blog with some travel photos. If you read my personal blog, then you’ve seen these already. But for everyone else…here is some of what we saw while in the vicinity of Bangkok, Thailand. More to come in the future from Chiang Mai, Phuket, Krabi, and Koh Samui.

Hopely-Kimball [The Big Day] Slideshow

Yes I know…this one is long over due!  Michele and Brian were married back in November in New Jersey. This one is extra special to me. Michele and Brian are not only wedding clients of mine but also friends of ours. It was so great being able to photograph someone that I know. I felt like I could really tailor the photography to them and make it extra special.

On the day of the wedding they were calling for non stop rain..and not just a drizzle but downpours. We all came prepared. But the only downpour we ended up in was driving to the reception location. Amazingly it all held off until we were down with the fun photos after the ceremony. The timing was just perfect.

Michele and Brian – I hope you enjoy re-living your very special and wonderful day through some of these photographs.

As always you can view this in a seperate window as well right here.

Reverting Back to Christmas

Since I pretty much feel like I missed christmas this year (ha…our flight was on xmas day). I didn’t get a huge chance to blog about the Lifestyle Holiday session I did right before we left. Except for the two photos I posted. Our friends have me take their kids photos every year. This year as psrt of their lifestyle session at their home they made a ginderbread house. It made for some super cute photos. The funny thing was their 2.5 year old insisted on eating more of the icing and candy then actually decorating the gingerbread house Here is how it all went down.

Back For More

After an extended vacation, Michele Schanker Photography is now open again.

Where did I go? My husband and I took a long vacation to Thailand where we saw monkeys, pet tigers, fed a baby tiger, rode elephants, snorkeled with the fish, and ate lots of good Thai food. I’ll probably share a few photos from time to time as I sort through everything. Now we are suffering the horrible jet lag. Its like no other jet lag that I have had before. My body keeps shutting down around noon, but its like 3am in Thailand so I guess that makes sense.
