Evey year I shoot photos for some good friends of ours. Tonight I definitely felt like I stepped myself into a new challenge. I’m so used to shooting in natural light. I had planned to do photos of the kids outside in the yard, but mother nature just was not cooperating. If you’re not from the Antelope Valley, your most likely not familiar with how intense our wind can be. Today was like tropical storm force or something. So we stuck to inside. But hey, the only way to grow as a photographer is to shoot in situations that are more challenging. Today was shot 100% with flash…no natural light. Totally different from all my other shoots.
I thought this was to cute, I think the TV was on and James really likes to watch the TV.
We got his attention back though…
Lorria had this cute outfit. All I wanted to do was go outside! But we figured maybe another day.
While we were shooting these photos, her brother took her book!
I also had the idea of a family photo with the family bikes! But we stuck to the garage.
I asked Lorria to give me a mean biker girl look…
