This will be my last spring in Lancaster, CA. Spring is one of the only “pretty” times in the desert since all the wildflowers bloom and the desert itself turns kind of green after all the winter rain. Being that my photography skills have improved a lot over the years and I will most likely never see this again, I made myself get up at 6am on a Sunday morning to go a photo safari of the Antelope Valley. If you haven’t got this already, I am moving to Denver, CO VERY SOON!!!! Hopefully before mother nature turns on the furnace and our days start reaching 100+ degrees.

Today I ventured out with some friends to a Scottish Festival. I have been to Scotland and just loved everything about it..from the accents to the kilts to the shortbread. So I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to go enjoy some bagpipe music.

Ughhh…I got sick this week for the third time in four months. I attribute it to all my airplane travel. Essentially when I don’t have weddings or photoshoots booked I travel to Denver to visit my husband. So during the winter months, I guess that means lots of sickness. What fun! As I’m suffering through my latest bout of illness I looked through some photos I took in downtown Denver two weeks ago. Here are some of the ones I picked out to share with everyone.

I am very much looking forward to the day where I travel to Denver for good. Colorado is a dream location for me.

I obviously love Photography, that I shouldn’t have to tell you. But as your photographer I like you to get to know me and my personality a little bit. Another big passion of mine is being active. I love running, skiing, riding my new bike, and hiking. When I say hiking…I mean big hikes. I usually don’t consider it a hike unless its at least 10 miles. I’m not the type to sit on the couch and watch TV..I’d much rather be moving all the time. Now what kind of photographer would I be if I didn’t post some photos as well. This past weekend my husband and I hiked to top of the highest mountain in the continental USA. Mt Whitney. Here is some of what I captured.
