On Sunday May 31st I will be participating in the Tour De Cure to benefit the American Diabetes Association. This event is a bike ride to raise money for the ADA. I will be riding my bike a total of 62 miles. To help raise money for this great event I have decided what better way then to offer my photography services. Essentially the highest bidder will get a photoshoot with Michele Schanker Photography. So if you are thinking you may need an photoshoot in the near future, this may be for you.

What you get:
Up to 1.5 hours of photography time
$100 print credit
All the proof images in medium resolution on CD.
Value of this packages is $200

The rules:
The minimum bid is $50.
All you have to do is leave a comment on this blog post with your bid.
The bidding ends at 9PM PST on May 10th 2009.
I will notify the winner of the auction promptly after the bidding has ended with instructions on how to complete your bidding process.
The photoshoot must take place in the Los Angeles County area (or in close proximity)
All of the money you bid goes directly to the Tour De Cure to benefit the ADA.

I have had a few questions lately regarding the new item I am carrying in my wedding packages. This item is usually what I refer to as Proof Box. Essentially this is a box that is custom designed using a few of your photographs. All of your proof prints from your session/wedding are included in the box as 4×6 prints. There is a front, a side, and a back. To show you exactly what this looks like I have included some photos of my sample box. This item is truly a unique way to present your proof prints. The design possibilities are endless and will always be approved by you.

Well, summer is flying by and winter will be here before we know it. So I wanted to get some info out there about Holiday Mini Sessions. These are great sessions to capture some of your families moments for Holiday cards and gifts. Last year was hectic, so this year there are a few guidelines. All sessions must be photographed by the end of November in order to guarantee delivery of prints and cards before the 25th of December. I will also be booking a limited number of sessions, so please reserve your dates early.

*For locations outside of the Antelope Valley there may be an additional travel fee required. Please inquire for additional information.
